Brian Waechter is a seasoned real estate veteran and a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa where he received his BA in Marketing and Business Management.

With a foundation of integrity and hard work, Brian launched a successful marketing career working with the Tampa Bay Rays as well as with Fortune 500 companies, Tech Data and Raymond James.

With a passion for real estate and background in investing, Brian has spent more than a decade successfully navigating the housing market. He is familiar with the design/build and renovation processes and has a keen eye for functional layout & design. His clients have come to rely on this expert knowledge along with his personalized service.

Brian has a genuine interest in helping his clients solve their individual real estate needs. Whether it be selling a home they've lived in for years or trying to find the perfect new property, Brian can be counted on throughout the process.

As a native of St. Petersburg, Brian has lived, worked, and played in this community for more than 40 years. He has resided in the Northwest Jungle Neighborhood as well as on the water in Pasadena Yacht & Country Club near the beaches. Since 2007, Brian, his wife Leslie, and children Kennedy & Blake have resided in The Old Northeast where they meticulously restored a 1925 colonial.

Brian is a member of the Pinellas Realtor Organization, enjoys spending time with his family in the Florida sun, as well as cycling, coaching soccer, and driving his classic cars. While Brian and his wife are products of the private school system graduating from St. Pete Catholic and Northside Christian respectively, his children have enjoyed similar success as students in our public schools. Brian and his family have been members of First United Method Church downtown since 2007.

Sharon Kantner

Sharon Kantner is in her 14th year with Smith & Associates and continually ranks in the top 1% of residential agents in Pinellas County. In 2021 & 2022, she and her partner, Brian Waechter, finished as the #1 team in the St. Petersburg office with Smith & Associates.

Sharon is an active resident of the Old Northeast for more than 20 years and resides in a 1920's-era home so she has deep appreciation and knowledge of historic homes. Her home was featured on the 2008 Historic Old Northeast Candlelight Tour of Homes after she and her husband lovingly restored and transformed their 1922 Arts and Crafts bungalow. They succeeded in blending existing space with a new addition, while honoring, maintaining and celebrating the Arts and Crafts Movement they so love.

In addition to the historic neighborhoods of St. Petersburg, Sharon's expertise extends to Snell Isle, the downtown condominium market, and surrounding areas. She brings her clients superior service, professionalism and knowledge while understanding the ever-changing market conditions of today. Her passion for meeting and exceeding her client’s expectations results in their referrals, repeat business and loyalty for years after the sale.

Sharon goes the distance to make sure her clients understand the St. Pete real estate market and the complete process, whether they are buying or selling a home. She also makes it a top priority to educate out of town buyers on the neighborhood, community, churches and school system. She is a long time resident and an active volunteer in the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood of St. Petersburg.

Sharon is a member of the Pinellas Realtor Organization and volunteers in the local community, including serving on the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Candlelight Tour of Homes Committee and Garden Tour Committee. Outside of real estate, Sharon enjoys walking and biking downtown and the waterfront parks, as well as playing tennis at The Vinoy Club, where she and her family are members. Sharon is proud to have her husband, Rick, a local real estate attorney, by her side which proves very handy with many of her real estate transactions. As a mother of two teenage girls, ages 16 and 18, who attend Calvary Christian High School, she is very familiar with the private and public school systems in the area.
